Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd!

Welcome to The Church of the Good Shepherd and its web site. It is our hope that through the site you will be able to answer most of the questions you may have about our worshipping community.

We are biblically centered and traditional in our Anglican worship. The Great Commission is carried out through our worship, discipleship, fellowship, stewardship and love at church and throughout the community. There are numerous activities throughout the year for both the parish family and for the community to enrich your experience at Good Shepherd.

You are invited to worship with us at our 10:00 am Sunday Holy Eucharist with Father Robert "Bob" McBride. Stay after the service and enjoy refreshments and fellowship in the Parish Hall. Youth Bible Study meets in the Parish Hall following Holy Eucharist. Wednesday's Holy Eucharist begins at 6:00 p.m.

Morning Prayer is said at 10:00 a.m. on Monday and at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Beginning on Tuesday, March 21, a women's Bible Study will meet at 9:30 in the Parish Hall to view a new Ray Vander Laan teaching entitled "The Mission of Israel". Mr. Vander Laan teaches from on-site locations in the Holy Land concerning the Bible foundations of the Lord's plans for
His people. These teachings have always brought new understanding to our relationship with God.

"Walking with the Lord" is a group dedicated to walking through the Good Shepherd neighborhood on the second Monday of the month, weather permitting.

A men's breakfast is served the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. The men join together in the Parish Hall for a meal and lively discussion.

The first Lenten Service starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by Supper and Study begins on March 8. Father McBride will use the book entitled "24 Hours That Changed the World" by Adam Hamilton as the basis for our Study. Books are still available in the Crossover. A meatless meal will be served. Make plans to grow in the spirit through our Lenten Study over the next six weeks.

We would like to have the opportunity to meet you and introduce you to our church family. If you are seeking Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd may be just the place you are looking for in your journey. If I or any member of our parish can be of assistance to you, we would be delighted to contact you.

" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
