Altar Guild



    The purpose of the Altar Guild is to support the sacraments and services of the church with care and detail. In groups of two or three, these parishioners care for the altar and prepare the sanctuary for all services. They are responsible for setting up for Sunday and Wednesday services, special services, baptisms, weddings and funerals. The Guild takes reverent care of the altar and the linens, vestments and communion vessels. The combined efforts are a gift of love to God and Good Shepherd Church. Openings for service in the Altar Guild are available. Training sessions are set up according to experience and need.
